The World Economic Forum: Does the family behind it rule the world?
They seem to think so. Let's meet the Schwabs, review Klaus's book, and start exposing some of those Young Global Leaders.
Meet the Daughter
Nicole Schwab sits on the Executive Council of Dad’s World Economic Forum. She is also Founding Director of Dad’s Forum of Young Global Leaders. (More on that later.) In this 2-minute clip from a round table discussion in June, 2020, Ms. Schwab comes across as articulate, erudite, and even likeable. However, I have some questions.
How is Ms. Schwab so self-confident and seemingly unworried about the new deadly virus and its still many mysterious unknowns? Does she not know she’s supposed to be afraid? Did she not see the same fear-porn and ‘Nudge’ messaging as the rest of us? Why does she seem to presume that the "huge inflows of [Covid] money” she is celebrating are freely available for other purposes, including hers? Where does she think that money comes from? Why is she already talking about radically changing the destiny of humanity, instead of flattening the curve or hoping beyond hope that miracle vaccines will come along and save us? Where does her authority come from? Come to think of it, where is her mask? Why isn’t she social distancing? Did I mention this was June of 2020? Why is she not “following the science”? What’s going on here? It’s almost as if she knew things we didn’t.
Oh, wait…
Meet Nicole’s Dad
Klaus Schwab is the mysterious Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), headquartered in Davos, Switzerland. The WEF’s origins, which are also shrouded in mystery, can be traced, in part, to Henry Kissinger, in the early 70’s. Today, the WEF forms part of a broader nexus of globalist organizations, including the Council on Foreign Relations, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Wellcome Trust, among others. How power is shared and where it ultimately resides between, across, and behind these globalist platforms largely remains an enigma, but that these secretive extra-democratic organizations are broadly aligned and together wield more power over the fate of the world than any competing force, save for perhaps the Chinese Communist Party, is sufficiently clear. Incidentally, totalitarian Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CCP, is revered in these circles, and particularly so at the WEF. These organizations have several characteristics in common. Among other things, each projects vast power and promotes vague globalist narratives and ostensibly related initiatives in support of often unclear or ill-defined agendas. They eschew genuine public transparency and, as alluded, are democratically accountable to no one.
The WEF stands out from other globalist organizations in several respects. As can be seen on its website, the WEF counts the vast majority of the world’s Fortune 500 companies, and many more corporations and organizations, as its members. While there are different levels, the annual dues and other fees these entities pay the WEF are enormous in absolute terms, but a drop in the bucket compared with the trillions of dollars in wealth these entities collectively preside over. The WEF is, by far, the most publicly visible and flamboyant of the major non-governmental globalist organizations. This is evidenced by its secretive, yet often high profile and always eccentric founder, and by the annual WEF summits in Davos. These are finely orchestrated events, which bring together billionaires, corporate oligarchs, business leaders, thought leaders, heads of state and other senior politicians and bureaucrats from around the world to discuss issues of the day, or rather WEF agendas. These summits and other events distinguish the WEF above all others as the world’s major intersection between large corporations and governments.
The fuller extent of the WEF’s power is perhaps best revealed in the surreal and seemingly near universal unwillingness of anyone in the establishment, whether it be the mainstream media, our top political leaders, or senior business leaders to seriously question, let alone criticize Mr. Schwab or the WEF, despite both being shrouded in mystery and controversy. It seems no one prominent who has much to lose in the mainstream will dare to genuinely question or challenge either. That’s awesome power and yet, as we will see in future posts, the WEF, its Chairman and other senior leaders say and promote some of the most maniacal things and give every impression, not that they and their organization are there to serve We-the-People, but that we are here to be exploited by them. This Substack’s next post related to the WEF will expose these alarming concerns in detail. In the meantime, here are some related thoughts and observations, before moving on to my analysis of Klaus Schwab’s most recent book.
Irrespective of whether it is true, the WEF asserts as fact that, thanks to mRNA ‘vaccines’, the bodies of human beings around the globe can be or soon will be hackable by governments and corporations, whether we agree to this or not.
They laud this power, while simultaneously acknowledging that it is something Hitler and other totalitarians of the past could only have dreamed of. They see it and technological innovation more broadly as proof that God is “fake news”, and that any notion of individual free-will is over. (Friends may have seen some of the various footage to which I am referring. Those who haven’t will likely think I have lost my mind, but I promise lots of receipts in my next WEF post.)
When senior WEF leaders make such outlandish and maniacal statements like those above, they are often doing so in interviews with members of the mainstream media, or in front of an audience of world leaders, including often your president or prime minister, and yet they are never challenged.
“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power”― Benito Mussolini
In the case of the WEF, like all the afore mentioned globalist organizations and others, we are meant to presume the existence of good, and good intentions for We-the-People, when proof of this is conspicuously absent, and signs in plain sight overwhelmingly point to the contrary. Yet, narratives are tightly controlled, while questions, transparency, and meaningful scrutiny are actively discouraged if not systematically circumvented. Considering the asymmetry of this Power Versus People Paradigm, the dynamic leaves We-the-People in a highly exposed and precarious position, the implications of which have clearly begun to reveal themselves over the course of the last two and a half years since Covid-19 first emerged. We will return to these things in future posts. For now, let’s take a look at Uncle Klaus’s book.
COVID-19: The Great Reset
Anyone expecting to see a raving lunatic in Klaus Schwab’s book, ‘COVID-19: The Great Reset’, will be disappointed. This book has more of a cold and calculating tenor to it. It is written by a man who seemingly knows the future for us all, but possesses not a doubt in the world, other than the occasional rhetorical one made as a concession to throw readers off the scent. On the fundamentals, there’s one plan and it’s Klaus’s plan, whether we like it or not. So, you’d better get on board. Actually, it’s not Klaus’s plan per se. It is simply what will happen and Klaus is somehow the chosen prophet to tell the world.
For my purposes here, I am not attempting to summarize Schwab’s book or to go into much detail on what his ‘Great Reset’ entails, as a significant percentage of people will already know these things and they can be found on the book’s cover and in reviews on Amazon. A summary is also vicariously conveyed in the next section of this essay, starting with “Intrigue in the Dutch Parliament”. Instead, I want to try to provide a window into this man’s mind and soul as seen through his book, offer an admittedly scathing critique, and to share my own impressions concerning what I think this book is really about and what its intended purposes are.
In addition to there being no real reflection or second guessing on the author’s part, there is no soul or compassion in this book. Not for the human suffering or loss of life that had already occurred from Covid-19. Nor for the terrible things taking place at the time of publication; things primarily related to and a result of government abuse of its citizenry. Schwab displays no discomfort about any of this, nor for his predictions of awful things yet to come. Equally absent is any serious discussion about preventing or ameliorating any of the carnage. Like Klaus’s plan, these things are simply presented as how it is, so get used to it. Here is an example of Schwab in conversation to illustrate the mentality: “The people assume … we are just going back to the good old world we had, and everything will be normal again in how we are used to normal…. This is … fiction. It will not happen.” Megalomania much, Mr. Schwab?
I am still waiting for “the science” supporting that bold and presumptuous statement. It is a primary thesis in Schwab’s book, which, without directly saying so, effectively asserts that after millions of years of humanoid evolution and circa 200,000 years of Homo sapiens living with illness, including presumably viruses: we all suddenly had to radically and permanently alter the trajectory of mankind based on a few months of highly sketchy and often non-existent data related to a supposedly novel virus. Oh, the arrogance! Or was it a ruse? If anyone has an inside track on the evidence for Uncle Klaus’s case, I am all eyes and ears. That our governments and media embraced this patently absurd narrative in lockstep with so little foundation is extraordinary. That they overtly embraced systematic censorship and suppression in doing so speaks volumes. In hindsight, the fact that so many of us went along with this narrative unquestioningly and are still doing so, with the knowledge that censorship was and is being used, and despite the enormous costs to ourselves, our children, and the world writ large, is a strong indication that Dr. Mattias Desmet is correct in his hypothesis of a Mass Formation Psychosis, which I’ll return to shortly.
Also conspicuous, but entirely consistent with what we have seen throughout the Covid era from our leaders, who are clearly working together and all connected to the World Economic Forum (WEF), is that there is no genuine hope, positivity, or inspiration for We-the-People anywhere in this book. Is positive energy not important, especially in the face of challenges? Nor is there any regard for the value of individual empowerment or the importance of freedom, liberty, democracy, or even the rule-of-law. No, the overriding theme of this book is one of collectivism, the unavoidable desecration of democracy and national sovereignty, and the inevitability of an “angrier world” with centralized top-down control: all presented in a clinical matter-of-fact way that is meant to convey the gravitas of an academic work, where little evidence of such work exists. Not surprisingly, this supposedly necessary power shift plays well for Schwab and the WEF et al. It also closely aligns with the infamous Rockefeller Foundation (RF) paper published in 2010 which, completely by coincidence, described how a pandemic might be used to establish global authoritarian power. If the Rockefeller comparison is not chilling enough, less kind parallels can be drawn between Schwab’s vision and other disturbing periods in modern history. I have no problem declaring a bias against Klaus Schwab and the WEF, because I have many. (This Substack is no fan of the RF either and will cover it in future posts.)
Either as a figure head or as a genuine force, Schwab stands at or near the center of the oppressive power side of the Power Versus People Paradigm, which this Substack page has made its central focus. Far from being what I would call a legitimate non-fiction body of work, i.e., one which seeks to expand readers’ minds by taking them on a thoughtful journey of intellectual exploration or one that challenges, informs, and educates on subject-matter where the author has material expertise, this book, ‘COVID-19: The Great Reset’, is a work of propaganda. Schwab does not even make a half-hearted attempt at arguing his case, let alone provide supporting evidence. He simply assumes an authority posture over his readers and expects them to accept it. This book is replete with gaslighting and, in my opinion, it is operating on two primary levels, both of which are sinister.
On one level, Schwab’s book is providing the ‘memo’ to the wider club of sycophantic elites on down the food chain who, by this time, are already acting in alignment with, but perhaps in need of reinforcement or clarification of their marching orders. This is provided in the form of guidance meant to be inferred from Schwab’s many descriptions of what is needed for his ‘Great Reset’ and in his ‘predictions’ of what’s to come. You may think I’m off my rocker, or reading too much into it, but it all lines up very nicely and the sycophancy is real. Schwab seemingly even mailed copies of his book directly to at least several European heads of state. This is partially evidenced by some extraordinary intrigue which took place in the Dutch Parliament, which I will detail further down.
On the other level, I believe ‘Covid-19: The Great Reset’ was intended to condition the general public to get used to its ideas, so that we would passively accept both what was happening in the world at the time, and what Klaus & Co. may have in store for us in the future. The book was published precisely at a time when people were most isolated from each other and populations everywhere were at the height of state and media induced psychological stress and in a State of Fear over the pandemic. We were therefore full of free-floating anxiety, a psychological phenomenon, which I believe Joost Merloo first identified and Hannah Arendt shortly thereafter convincingly argued, makes us highly susceptible to suggestion and direction provided by a dominant power promising to alleviate our stress. Free-floating anxiety in the context our time is also a primary theme in Mattias Desmet’s new book, ‘The Psychology of Totalitarianism’. Laura Dodsworth discussed it as well in ‘A State of Fear’. It would not matter that only a tiny fraction of the population had read or will read Schwab’s book. All that matters is that ‘COVID-19: The Great Reset’ was successfully introduced into the mainstream by this extraordinarily powerful man without serious challenge - as intended. From there, things broadly work as follows: The establishment, and in particular, Big Tech and corporate media, both already fully engaged in ‘Covid’ censorship and suppression, among other things, take their further cues and continue manipulating the Overton Window accordingly. As a result, the general public continues to be systematically primed and programmed, without understanding that this is what is happening.
This book provides a gateway into the mind of a world-class sociopath. Given the power that mind has over our political leaders and in turn over us all, reading it was time well spent. Informed skeptical readers will be able to see through how Schwab is attempting to manipulate the less critical and those more trusting of power, and how he is likely to succeed with many. Due to its lack of nuance or depth, this book, while deeply frustrating, is an easy read. However, it is remarkable that a 280 page book that presumed to know so much about where Covid-19 would lead was published as early as July 2020. Clearly, it must have been in production long before any of us were in lockdown. Even more remarkable is how accurately this book foretold what has occurred since. However, as I have suggested, ‘COVID-19: The Great Reset’ should be looked upon as more of an instruction guide for the lower rungs of the elite establishment, than a crystal ball for the world. Nevertheless, some will still, understandably, be tempted to attribute the accuracy of Schwab’s apparent fortune-telling to chance or the educated guesswork of a genius. Anything is possible, but I would then suggest bringing in some neutral third-party statisticians so we can start counting stars in the galaxy to consider the odds.
Intrigue in the Dutch Parliament
Some ten months after Schwab’s book was published, an opposition party member in the Netherlands asked Prime Minister Mark Rutte what he thought of Klaus Schwab’s book, Covid-19: The Great Reset. Instantly, without the slightest hesitation, Mr. Rutte denied knowing the book. In response, the opposition member promptly furnished a copy of a letter Rutte had sent to Schwab thanking him for sending a copy of the book in question and praising its content. The exchange almost has to be seen to be believed. I provide the 4-minute video here and the transcript in italics below:
00:03 Opposition member
Chairwoman, more and more people are seeing that it is a big lie that the current Corona measures are meant to protect public health. This begs the question: why are all these awful measures being implemented that change our entire way of living, destroy our entire society? Now, there are a couple of influential globalists, who according to their own words, view the Corona crisis as a huge opportunity to “reset” our world. It means they have a perverse incentive to make this last longer. One of those globalists is Klaus Schwab, founder and chairman of the World Economic Forum. He has also written a book with the catchy title: COVID-19: The Great Reset. So my question to the [unintelligible] Prime Minister is: How does he judge the content of this book?
00:55 The Prime Minister
I don’t know the book, Madame Chairwoman. However, I’d like to advise Mr. van Meijeren not to go too much into all those conspiracy theories. I watch them on YouTube as well and I think it’s fascinating how they explain that 9/11 didn’t happen or that it’s all different. All put together very nicely, but usually it is what it is, a conspiracy theory. —Mr. van Meijeren.
01:16 Opposition member
… it surprises me that the first question is answered with a lie, because I’m holding a letter here, dated November 26, 2020. This is a letter from Mr. Rutte to Mr. Klaus Schwab in which he thanks him for sending the book and calls it a hopeful analysis for a better future. Would Mr. Rutte like to rummage through his memories? It’s not more than six months ago. I don’t know how long your memories stay active, but it is probably still possible to dig this up, in order to answer my first question once again, but this time honestly, please.
02:02 The Prime Minister
Well, the honest answer is that that is a “nice” letter. One in which you, although you can’t read every book cover to cover, but still make a kind reply to the sender.
02:12 Opposition member
Well, then, the Prime Minister is saying he didn’t lie to me, but to Mr. Klaus Schwab. But then let me ask the question directly here, Mr. Klaus Schwab, who argues in his book for resetting our world, to replace our national parliamentary democracy with a global technocracy, and he argues for an end to private property. So Mr. Rutte is apparently not even aware that he has called this a hopeful message for a better future. How is it possible for Mr. Rutte to attach a value judgment to a book with a neo-Communist message, when he has not even read that book? — Thank you.
02:55
The Prime Minister. —Yes, Klaus Schwab is founder of the World Economic Forum. The man has spent his entire life in service to bringing together the private sector, politics, NGOs in order to create a dialogue on how to move this world forward. I have the utmost respect for him. I don’t agree with him on everything. I did read another book of his, about the fourth industrial revolution. I liked that one very much, but not this book. So yes, personally I have great respect for Professor Klaus Schwab. And his life’s work with the World Economic Forum, which I think is of great importance as a platform to meet each other and where also many young people get a chance to confront the big issues concerning climate and environmental transitions and energy transitions, including how we can set up our future industry well. Discussions take place in full transparency for everyone to see. So there’s no reason to doubt the intentions of Klaus Schwab. —Mr. van Meijeren.
03:56
Well, to conclude…I think it would be nice if Mr. Rutte would just send a correction to Klaus Schwab stating that he does not think that his book offers a hopeful message for a better future, that he has not read it and that he doesn’t think it is a good book, as he has stated in his last comment. Surely that seems the least we can expect from an honest prime minister.
The Prime Minister’s use of language is calculated from beginning to end. Every word is part of an attempt at manipulation, obfuscation, or an easily proven lie. There are many tells that give up the game. Here are a few:
First, if the PM had said he knew of but had not read the book, there would have been nothing to object to and his subsequent “nice letter” excuse would have made more sense. So, why the blatant lie right out of the gate? Answer: because the subject-matter is deeply uncomfortable for the PM and the general public is not meant to hear of it, so he choked, or he got cocky, thinking the attempted subterfuge would fly. I will share other even more egregious examples of this kind of thing, related to questions about the WEF, happening in the political power centers of other countries in future posts. However, here, the PM, having been caught out, proceeds to dig himself deeper into a hole. By stressing how well he knows Schwab and defensively praising him as lavishly as he does, the PM further underscores just how preposterous the idea of him not knowing of the man’s book was in the first place.
Then, while still on the defensive, the PM says of the WEF, that “Discussions take place in full transparency for everyone to see. So, there’s no reason to doubt the intentions of Klaus Schwab.” Rutte knows full well this is untrue. Firstly, what is discussed in public at the WEF summits in Davos is staged manipulation. Even there, in the public eye, as I have already alluded, some of the most extraordinary and objectionable things are said, yet in cult-like fashion, they go completely unchallenged. Secondly, everyone who knows the WEF knows it is shrouded in secrecy and that the real business happens behind closed doors. Even our culpable and corrupt mainstream media has glorified the secrecy of the WEF summits and other meetings between the Davos billionaire class et al. Furthermore, as Prime Minister of the Netherlands, it is Mr. Rutte’s job to question all serious matters of international concern as they may relate to his country. It is not his job to give a cart blanche pass to anyone or anything. Especially not to such a powerful and controversial individual and organization, which many of his citizens have genuine concerns and questions about, not least because of their potential to impact the sovereignty and stability of their country. Yet, Rutte dismisses such things out of hand.
The opposition member is fundamentally right in his characterization of Schwab’s book. It is, indeed, a thinly disguised global communist manifesto for the 21st century. Yet Rutte endorsed it and did not avail himself of the chance to retract that endorsement, nor to distance himself from the member’s characterization of Schwab’s book when confronted and given the opportunity to do either or both, and therein lies the biggest tell of all:
Rutte employs a series of techniques that our duplicitous political class use all the time. Consider all the deflections and distractions, such as the redirect to the supposed YouTube conspiracy theories, and the false equivalence made with 911 deniers. This is meant to discredit the questioner by association, even though there is no correlation whatsoever other than the one Rutte himself is trying to fabricate on the spot. Next Mr. Rutte creates a strawman by shifting the conversation to defending Mr. Schwab’s reputation, and poorly, I might add. However, crucially, Rutte never directly condemns what is being asserted. If Mr. Rutte shares common core values with the questioner and We-the-People in democratic societies, then surely it would have been easy for him to say, “Well, my goodness, if those things were true, I would certainly share your concerns. If Mr. Klaus were indeed seeking to fundamentally change our way of life, replace our national parliament and democracy with a global technocracy, end private property, and promote a neo-Communist message, I would stand with you and vehemently oppose him on any of those things, because they are all abhorrent to me and here’s why… However, I can assure you that you are mistaken and, again, here’s why…” But Mr. Rutte seemingly cannot say anything like that. Accordingly, he evades, redirects, and impugns the questioner or his line of questioning. Mr. Rutte’s responses are pure snake oil.
Once we start looking for these kinds of duplicitous techniques in language manipulation in the things that our politicians and media say, it soon becomes clear that such tactics are used all the time, as a matter of course. They are the norm, rather than the exception and employing them is something they see as a skill to be honed. However, it is worse than that. Once one becomes attuned to just how widespread these manipulation tactics go, it also becomes clear that the entire system, whether it be press conferences, parliamentary procedures, congressional hearings, or the commercial formats of news programs and newspaper articles etc., everything, is built around structures and formats which have the dual effect of making power appear accountable, while simultaneously shielding it from effective scrutiny.
This young politician, Mr. Gideon van Meijeren MP, has done a great service in trying to expose something of extreme importance to We-the-People in Holland and beyond about the WEF, which our politicians, media and Big Tech are all working hard to keep from us. Unfortunately, the subterfuge is highly effective and prevents most of us from seeing through or beyond it. This too is very much in line with the Mass Formation Psychosis theory in Dr. Mattis Desmet’s new book.
European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen
Curiously, I cannot find a recording of the occasion, but I have a vivid recollection of an EU summit sometime in 2020/21 where European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen introduced Klaus Schwab who was coming through over a live video feed from Davos. Schwab was on a massive screen towering over von der Leyen and her audience like God as they spoke for several minutes. During this time, von der Leyen referred to Schwab as “Dearest Klaus” on at least half a dozen occasions; essentially every time she addressed him. This was conspicuously done in a way that seemed to attempt to vicariously transfer the same sycophantic deference for Schwab onto we viewers in the general public. The whole thing was reminiscent of how the Chinese Communist Party or the Politburo of the former Soviet Union would treat their “Dear Leader”. However, in this case, are Europeans not living in democratic societies, and is von der Leyen not supposed to be the leader? It was all upside down and spooky.
Since then, von der Leyen has toned down the Schwab-worship slightly. She now refers to him as “Dear Klaus” and not quite all the time. Judging from all this, I’m pretty sure von der Leyen received a complimentary copy of Schwab’s book and duly read it. Regardless, where does this flagrantly obsequious worship for this deeply mysterious and secretive man come from? The question matters, not just because the subservience is so creepy, but because, as we can see in this video here, von der Leyen is attached at the hip with Schwab. She will not disagree with him on anything material and she seemingly adopts a subordinate position when in his company. Notice also the nervous body language throughout.
At the 6:00 mark, von der Leyen praises Schwab’s ‘Great Reset’, giving every indication that the EU is fully on board with it, while giving almost no attention to what it entails or what its true implications are. However, as the young opposition member in the Dutch Parliament pointed out, this vision of the future has profound implications for us all, and not just in Europe, but for the world. Yet, any question about the need for Schwab’s ‘Great Reset’ seems settled. Much like “the science” of Covid and the narratives, which flowed from it, this seems to be a matter that has simply been decided by powerful people behind closed doors and is now a fait accompli to be imposed on us all, no questions asked.
It is quite something to see how quickly even the pretence of caring about democratic principles has vanished. It is also surreal to see the de-facto head of the European Union, someone who has enormous power and influence over the lives of 450 million people, none of whom voted for her, diminish and even trivialize her own awesome power and responsibility, by subserviently bowing down to this man who is shrouded in mystique and controversy, and has no democratic mandate whatsoever.
Do we now see how this EU game works? Do we see what can happen when we allow democracy to be gradually diluted? Do we see what can happen when nation-state sovereignty is gutted in stealth under seemingly attractive, yet false pretences, by elites over a period of decades, in favor of a central technocracy far away from voters? It is not simply that we become inured to our vanishing relevance as voting citizens and even conditioned to be supportive of a system built on one absurdity after another; absurdities which we would never have accepted if we knew of them from the outset. It is not just that someone who, by all accounts, was a mediocre politician who failed and was plagued by scandal in her own country, in this case Germany, can be suddenly thrust into the top political position in Europe presiding over 27 diverse nations with close to half a billion people, without a meaningful democratic mandate, much less a popular vote. No, the continuum on this slippery slope into the undemocratic abyss of the so-called New World Order can get much worse, and fast.
What it means is that not only can this awesome power, which lacks transparency and rests on shaky democratic foundations, be abused indefinitely with veritable impunity, it can, for all intents and purposes, be converted into authoritarianism or even totalitarianism. It can even be transferred into the hands of others, such as Schwab, who embody such ideologies. This can happen in stealth over time or seemingly precipitously. It can happen in plain sight for all to see, or quietly behind the scenes. Of course, this is all theoretical. Right?
Similar efforts are arguably also afoot more globally via the World Health Organization, which after its dismal performance the past two and a half years, and in spite of its clear conflicts-of-interest, is doggedly pursuing a massive land-grab of sovereignty from nations around the world on grounds of bio-security. The WHO is clearly a captured regulatory body, and plainly under the control of globalists and the Chinese Communist Party. Fortunately, African nations and other countries in the developing world who have arguably suffered the most under WHO policies (and atrocities) and many of the more controversial initiatives of Bill Gates, who is one of the WHO’s biggest financial contributors, recently revolted and quashed these attempts, for now. However, it was shocking and revealing to see how willing the leaders of industrialized nations seemed to be to go along with this silent coup, and how disengaged and uncritical the mainstream media has been over the whole thing.
Returning to von der Leyen and the EU, I believe more than ever that voting for Brexit was a vote for people over power, and therefore the right vote for me (and for Britain). However, I had no idea just how widespread the rot went or that Brexiters, most of us without consciously realizing it, were fighting a much bigger and far more menacing power than just a technocratic European Union. Fast forward to the Covid era in 2022 and it seems clear that corrupt and morally bankrupt governments and political elites in the EU and the UK both are comprehensively captured and controlled by a much more monstrous WEF, which works in concert with other secretive globalist organizations also possessing vast power. The WEF et all were hardly on my radar back when we were all distracted and divided fighting over Brexit.
All the furore from those days makes a lot more sense now, both with respect to the Brexit result and the election of Donald Trump. In both cases, the establishment went ballistic and the tightly controlled media lost its mind. Both lost their credibility - comprehensively. If one accepts the hypothesis, as I now do, that these two major events represented unexpected threats in the form of a serious interruption or even a partial reversal, not just of establishment norms, but of a much bigger power play that had been long in the works, then the history now looks very different with the benefit of hindsight. What felt like the weight of the entire global establishment being turned fiercely against both democratic results, and the voters behind them starts to make a lot more sense.
In the case of Brexit, there was not even the pretence of interference in the vote. The result was decisive, with more Brits democratically voting to leave the EU than had ever voted for anything in the UK’s history. Yet, this was to be appalled and condemned, and the entire debate and its aftermath descended into ad hominem, slander, and demonization, which lasted for years. The behavior of EU leaders was churlish and spiteful throughout. Meanwhile, our own political establishment in the UK behaved duplicitously with the public and frequently appeared to be conspiring to undermine the result of the democratic referendum. All the theater makes much more sense now. It is also jolting to stop and consider for a moment all that we thought we were fighting over back then. All the costs and downsides, which Brexiters and Remainers respectively saw in the other side’s preferred outcome, are hardly a drop in the bucket compared to what has actually been lost and taken from all of us and the entire world the past two years. In addition to all the death and destruction, most of it unnecessary, as I will vigorously argue in future posts, I do not consider it a stretch to suggest that democracy and freedom as we knew them hang in the balance - globally.
How did all this happen? How did we get to this point, seemingly out of the blue? Many people believe this has all been in the works for decades. I am one of them. That story will have to be discussed another time, but I will start it here by concluding this essay with a brief introduction to Schwab’s Young Global Leaders. They too will be covered in more detail in future posts.
The Forum of Young Global Leaders
It is my hope that at least as much as 10% of the population may already know of the Young Global Leaders. The more the better. However, as the mainstream media filter makes it difficult to gage who knows what these days, I have no idea. For those who don’t know the YGLs, your initiation starts here and you can meet some of them below. Actually, there are thousands of them. About 5,000 to be slightly more precise and the full list will be provided in the next WEF post. Within the mix, there will be dozens, if not hundreds of faces you know… maybe even a leader or two near you.
Before I go further, let me acknowledge that I expect to be disbelieved or written off on this and on most of what I am writing here on Substack. If I were hearing these things for the first time myself, I would not believe me either. However, readers can and are encouraged to investigate anything I may write on their own accord in their own time. In time, more details will follow here in future posts. For now, below in italics is a quick summary of the YGL from The Liberty Beacon. I do not know this site well, but the summary is concise and accurate and saves me from having to compose an inferior one myself:
[In 1992, Klaus Schwab and World Economic Forum launched a program initially called Global Leaders of Tomorrow. In 2004, this program was turned into the Forum for Young Global Leaders (which I cover in my book The Global Coup D’Etat) – a 5-year program of indoctrination into WEFs principles and goals. The aim was – and is – to find suitable future leaders for the emerging global society. The program has since its inception included politicians, business leaders, royalty, journalists, performers and other cultural influencers who have excelled in their fields but have not yet turned 40 years of age (originally 43 in order to include Angela Merkel). It has since grown into an extensive global network of dedicated leaders with enormous resources and influence, all working to implement the technocratic plans of the World Economic Forum in their respective nations and fields. The network creates a force for worldwide influence through the combination of the individual skills and resources of its members. As Klaus Schwab says in the introductory quote, it has become very successful. Already in the first year, 1992, a number of highly influential candidates were elected. Among 200 selected were global profiles such as Angela Merkel, Tony Blair, Nicolas Sarkozy, Bill Gates, Bono, Richard Branson (Virgin), Jorma Ollila (Shell Oil), and José Manuel Barroso (President of the European Commission 2004–2014).[1]”]
The only criticism I might offer for the above summary is that it is not clear that the WEF looks for excellence, first and foremost, in their candidates for its Forum of Young Global Leaders. Some argue that they seek individuals who would not otherwise likely rise very far on their own accord and are therefore generally more malleable to WEF indoctrination, with Justin Trudeau, Crystia Freeland, and Jacinda Ardern potentially being notable examples of this.
Here is one of those promised receipts. From this 2-minute clip readers should be left in no doubt of the reach and potential implications of the YGL, and if what Schwab says here does not alarm you, you may well be in the Mass Formation Psychosis:
On the other hand, if you are wondering: Whether that politician you like, or don’t like, is a ‘Young Global Leader’; Why they didn’t mention this when they were campaigning for your vote; Why no politician ever seems to campaign on a World Economic Forum platform, despite how chummy they all seem to be with that organization; Why so many of our politicians appear to be increasingly less committed to the nation-state, and maybe, a tad hostile to their citizens and to democracy; Why your media has not kept you informed about this YGL organization, which has been a serious going concern for 3 decades; then keep wondering about those questions and don’t stop looking for answers.
If you’re remembering and now wondering again how it happened that all our leaders seemingly acted in lockstep like never before from the outset of the pandemic, in ways which literally comprehensively contravened long-standing national pandemic plans everywhere they existed, to say nothing of common sense, common law, democratic principles, scientific principles and science itself, then that’s a very good question.
If you are starting to ask yourself whether our senior political leaders really do work on behalf powerful elites in the shadows instead of for We-the-People, then I think you may be on to something.
Conclusion
While power versus people struggles have always existed, the internet age has fundamentally changed the paradigm. In a few short decades, elites have been able to connect, collaborate, and conspire, globally, like never before. While there is tremendous scope for good in this, there is also every reason to be skeptical. Power and wealth have increased astronomically, while becoming ever more concentrated in fewer hands. New systems and power structures, which possess global economies-of-scale and place technology and the weaponization of innovation at their heart, have been harnessed to ensure this transference becomes self-perpetuating and continues with ever increasing speed and efficiency. Time tested political systems, constitutions, and nation-state frameworks are being transcended and trampled over in stealth, seemingly leaving democracy itself in No Man’s Land.
On the evidence in plain sight, it is clear there’s a not-so-secret secretive globalist club, or network of clubs, at least partially if not predominantly fronted by the WEF. In its own right, the WEF has loosely concentrated vastly more wealth and power under its wings than has ever been concentrated anywhere in the history of humanity. With Big Tech completely in the fold, this power goes an order of magnitude beyond what most of us can begin to comprehend and is growing all the time. The dynamic in today’s high-tech world is different from the Industrial Revolution through to the early information age when power needed people in a symbiotic relationship that ultimately had to raise people up for the powerful to achieve their ends. It is no longer at all clear that today’s elites believe they need We-the-People on remotely equal footing as free and successful individuals and classes in the same way. We certainly do not feature positively or prominently in the priorities of their globalist agendas. Neither does your country, at least not in any way we might like to think and those increasingly rare politicians who genuinely are still passionate about your country and committed to you and We-the-People are not welcome in this club either.
We-the-People need to stop blindly trusting Power and to stop giving it a blank check. Power is uniting globally. People need to do the same. It starts by coming together in greater numbers and saying ‘No’ to the absurd, exercising small acts of resistance and diverting our money away from complicit corporations, while ensuring our politicians hear our voices and know we are watching them. Today’s Power Versus People Paradigm is real and it’s global. It is a grand power grab and virtually everything else that is put before us is done so as part of a sideshow intended to distract us from that fact. To stop it, we have to see it. If enough of us see it, it can be stopped.
